I've been less active these last few weeks since I had to prepare my entry for the senior art show. Well, after weeks of preparation, refinement, and a crapload of typing in a fake language, it's done! So what is it? Well...
Ok, I took this article from Time and translated it into English Hieroglyphics. Actually, let me take a step back a bit; I INVENTED ENGLISH HIEROGLYPHICS. I created a system of writing as well as about 300 symbols. Anyway, I translated this:
This was my "Rosetta Stone." People can take these two documents and get an idea of the rules of the language as well as translate some of the glyphs. And from that, people can go on to translate this:
This is a big monolith full of random phrases, idioms, and pieces of advice. I then printed it off on a 6-foot canvas because why the hell not?
TLDR; I made up a language and turned it into a big puzzle. The end.
